The holidays are a great time for families to gather and celebrate what is most important to them. Capturing those timeless shots are a great way to commemorate what we are all thankful for…our children. I have so many great memories from all of my holiday photo shoots. Living in the South I have so many favorite memories of the water and the beach. Everyone (me included) always has a great time when taking pictures at the beach. Here are a few recent shots.

The fishing dock

I am always looking for different places to take photographs and this one was right under my nose. My boys and I always bike the trails at the James Island County Park. We passed this fishing dock every week and I was eager to take pictures there. Teresa P. hosted an awesome portrait party here in May. Here a just a few of my favorites from the evening.

Alhambra Hall

I just love portrait parties! We had an action packed day with seven families at Alhambra Hall.

A great big thanks to Sally for hosting the party. Here is an adorable picture of two very endearing children.

This little man was always moving fast. We caught up with him…what a smile.

It’s always very hard to choose my favorite moment of a photo shoot. Here is a perfect moment.

As the day went on the thunder storms began to roll in. This made for a perfect backdrop for pictures.

I have so many favorite photos that I want to share since Good Eye Photography LLC took shape. I have decided to post a few of my holiday 2007 favorites. There were many to choose from. Holiday seasons are always lots of fun (with lots of photo shoots.)

This shot was taken at Boone Hall Plantation. Lauren and Luke (not pictured) and I all had a great time.

Good Eye Photography LLC…how it all started

My name is Heather; I am in my 30s, have a wonderful family, and I love to take pictures. Good Eye Photography LLC was born in August 2006 and I have hit the ground running. Starting my own business has been a true labor of love. As a matter of fact, I sometimes feel this is my third child. I started Good Eye because of two very important people in my life, my two young boys who are now four and three. (If you are doing the math, yes I did manage to seek professional/legal help, write a business plan and take a huge leap of faith to start my business when my boys were one and two years old.) My mission is to capture those split second moments that are unique to your child…freezing in time, caputuring their true spirit and personality.
